Metromile is the pioneer of pay-per-mile car insurance, a usage-based insurance model measuring the miles you drive rather than driving behavior. As the brand continues to expand and evolve through its consumer base and app offering, new challenges present themselves as we continue to educate low-mileage drivers on this new model and shift to the notion that frequent drivers don't necessarily equate to high-mileage drivers.
Since joining the team in mid-2015, my role allows me to collaborate with channel owners, product designers, and freelancers on every facet of the brand—the digital realm of display ads, email templates; the physicalities of billboards and bus ads; and the versatility of illustrations and iconography. Notable contributions include optimizing the logomark, establishing a growing illustration library and in-house toolkit based off of Chris Delorenzo's contracted work, and creating a system for Metromile's iconography.
