As one of the internet's leading websites in hip-hop news, 2DopeBoyz has enjoyed immense popularity since its creation in 2007. Serving as a pivotal platform for independent artists and 2DBZ's loyal followers, the brand is known for its critical, unrestrained articles on current hip-hop events and artists. With a burgeoning community, 2DBZ founders Shake and Meka looked for a redesign to further the brand's personality through an identity that can compete with Spin, Rolling Stone, Pitchfork, and The Fader. I was tasked with working on a new logotype and visual system.
